  2. first Question, may i know who posted this one?

in order to prevent the sexual harassment from occurring more seriously, i think that every workplace should hire a counselor so that when the sexual harassment occur, both the doer and the victim could be send towards the counselor.

  3. sexual harassment really can changed someone's life. if someone known doing this, and proven guilty, they should be responsibility of their actions and accept whatever punishment they have to. every person know, that each and every single act that they do, have it's own effects, so, they should know better...

  5. Victims of sexual harrasment can take the action steps below in facing the issue:

1.) After you have experienced personally objectionable sexual content, ask yourself if you believe that the sexual content you experienced will lead to future discrimination against you.

2.) Monitor your environment to see if negative or positive workplace events occur because of the sexual situation you experienced. A positive workplace event might occur when you are given a promotion only to find it was due to your supervisor wanting you more available to listen to his or her sexual content.

3.) Document and obtain witnesses, if possible, to the sexual content and discrimination. Document the nature of the sexual content and discrimination, date/time, situation, and witnesses to the event.

4.) File a complaint with your supervisor or human resource (HR) department. Ask for a prompt investigation, to be reassigned during the investigation to a different supervisor if your supervisor will potentially be involved in the investigation and ask for an outcome report.

5.) You can also report to the psychology officer and the police.

All the action can be taken, is in the hands of the victim. She/he can also choose not to report but the supervisors, family, friends, spouse and others that related to the victims should give her/him a full supports in facing the issue.

  6. victim personality can changed drastically. this sometimes can make people around them feel annoyed n angry with their attitude. the victims don't know how to describe what happen they feel embarrassed by the experience. so, if it getting worse, victims should go and seek for help. it is ashamed, but it has to be done so the victims can move on with their life.

  8. I'm working in the hospital and dealing with psychiatry patients itself. From my experince i've seen cases that have history of rape or sexual harass by family member or friend. Some of the victim really live in a trauma and become depress.some of them become antisocial or mute because they don't trust anyone around them. Some of the cases which the victim is a young girl they become violent to other people because they want to realese their problems and revenge.Sexual harassment can become really serious to the victim if they only keep to themselve and don't tell or report to their colleague or employers. Not only their work performance will effected but also their health and mental.
